- Love. When in doubt, let compassion guide you. If you want to feel loving feelings, then do loving things
- Make sacred rituals – these root the soul
- Clear clutter — both external and internal – tranquility is its own form of beauty
- Follow your bliss — and if you don’t know what your bliss is, seek it actively, fearlessly
- Move — do not allow yourself to become congested, or stagnant. Move your body, move your life
- Be still — we use action to escape our internal struggles. Sit still enough to feel the groundlessness. Then sit long enough to flow into the groundlessness. Now you are moving again
- Flow — All things are changing always — don’t fight it — you will be taken care of — things are exactly as they should be
- Believe in something bigger than yourself
- Connect to that which grounds you often
- Connect to that which lights you from within often
- Discover what gives you deep, honest, nourishing rest — the kind where your mind, body, and spirit drink deeply from the cup of life — then take this rest as often as you need
- Discover what truly rejuvenates you, juices you, brings back your enegy, vitality and life force, what recharges you — then tap into this, whatever it is, as often as you need
- Believe the best of people – so much sadness comes from simple, silly miscommunication. Give people the benefit of the doubt. Believe everyone is trying their best
- Check in with yourself often. Do I have what I need? Am I where I belong? What’s working? What isn’t?
- Hope. Stay positive. Dream big.
- Faith. Trust yourself, trust the process. Believe in the good things coming. For anything to become true, you must believe. So practice believing.
- Love. Love in a way that fills your cup, not empties it. Practice love like you practice anything else you want to be really good at.
